WE ARE WORKING TO EXTRACT CO2 FROM THE ATMOSPHERE

(and save the planet meanwhile)

PLANET EARTH, WE HAVE A PROBLEM.

CO2 concentration in the atmosphere continues to rise despite the efforts of climate diplomacy.

As a consequence, the climate is changing and the planet is warming up.

We need to cut down emission as quickly as possible and permanently remove the CO2 we put up there.

OUR TECHNOLOGY

01 / WHAT

Direct Air Capture (DAC) technologies extract CO2 directly from ambient air. Through environmentally safe  chemical processes, captured CO2 can be turned into stone and permanently stored in geological formations, thereby achieving negative emissions.

Air-sourced CO2 can also be employed for industrial use or recycled into carbon-neutral materials and synthetic fuels.

02 / HOW

Currently available DAC technologies are extremely energy-intensive and often rely on critical minerals for energy production from renewable sources. CarpeCarbon’s innovative technology provides a scalable and energy-efficient solution for removing large amounts of CO2 from the air without competing with the energy transition for resources while cutting down energy costs.

03 / WHEN

We are working hard to make our technology available as soon as possible. We are designing our DAC system to be deployed almost everywhere on the planet. All of our efforts are directed towards the development of our technology on the large scale, enabling us to reach megatonne capacity as fast as possible. We are running out of time. We must act now.

Easily scalable

CapeCarbon's DAC units are easily scalable and non-site specific.

Resilient supply chain

The technology is designed to be independent of critical minerals and fragile supply chains.

Cost-effective

The high energy efficiency of our DAC system makes carbon removal low-cost and affordable.

Safe & Permanent

CO2 is permanently stored underground through environmentally-benign carbon mineralization.

OUR MISSION

Make Direct Air Capture cost-effective and scalable by developing a highly efficient technology with a measurable positive impact

Direct Air Capture

WHY DO WE NEED IT?

DAC is a  Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) technology that removes carbon dioxide from ambient air. As DAC systems efficiently capture CO2 that has already been emitted, they represent a remarkable example of carbon-negative technologies.

To this day, as we keep on releasing CO2 as a by-product of our activities, DAC is one of the most neglected yet necessary waste management services that our society needs.

Human activities have altered Earth's carbon cycle through fossil fuels exploitation, disrupting the climate balance and exposing humankind to the devastating consequences of global warming. The time has come for us to close the cycle by removing CO2 from the atmosphere.

Stopping emissions is absolutely necessary, but no longer sufficient.

To limit the temperature increase to 1.5°C (2.7 degrees Fahrenheit)
we must drastically reduce emissions and permanently remove each year 1.5 - 30 billion tonnes of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere by 2050.

CarpeCarbon is developing the technology of the future. Join us and act now to preserve the planet!

Have a look at these sources to better understand how serious this matter is.
